What do you enjoy about your job?
It’s exciting and humbling every day because I am a part of something much bigger.
Why are you supporting Strong Beautiful Future?
The maternal-infant bond starts from the very beginning. This means there are pivotal and amazing things that are involved in this miraculous process long before the actual birth and then beyond. All women deserve the very best because it is a time where a woman is the closest to life and death at the same time. Black women and their infants statistically are disportionately more affected by complications and adverse events during pregnancy and postpartum. In the United States, as an industrialized country, every campaign related to improving the odds and securing the future is important and necessary.
What is one fun or interesting thing about yourself?
I love football. Big time NEW ORLEANS SAINTS fan.
Is there anything else people might be interested to know about you?
I am a mother who had a baby after 35 years of age, an Integrative Women’s Health Professional (marry conventional and other alternative forms of medicine), and a hormone optimization and preconception epigenetics expert and speaker (help women optimize brain and body functions through leveraging their own personal genetic expression; and help improve brain and body functions to help with achieving healthy pregnancies that has transgenerational effects).
